Soon, soon, soon
I'll be over the Moon.
Next, the Sun and stars.
Meanwhile, I'm in bars.
I have a drink,
and think.
Then, another drink.
And so on, don't you know.
Then, it's time to go.

Rules Summary

• The People’s Poetry Competition is

open to any-one in the world aged 16

or over.

• Entries can be on any subject but must be 42 lines or less.

• Entries must be the poet’s own original work, and in English.

• Entries must not have been previously published or have won a prize in any other competition.

• All entries must be submitted via the correct entry form and be accompanied by the £3.00 entry fee.

• Cash prizes will awarded from the accumulated entry fees.

• The closing date for entries is midnight 25th June 2013.

• The copyright of each entry remains with the author.

• Entry of the Competition implies unqualified acceptance of all the Competition Rules.

• Please read the full Terms & Conditions (here) before submitting entries.
